It’s beautiful outside, one of my best friends from Chicago is in town and it’s Friday. Even if I have no clue where I’m going to be living once September 1st comes up, I’m going to do myself a solid and enjoy this mothafuggin weekend. Cheers to all of you – I hope your weekends are filled with sunshine, love and sexy times.
Wow, I’ve already screwed up my mix tape posting schedule and it’s only week 2. Better late than never and better late and also with a cute picture of Marshall making a new guinea pig friend at the pet store yesterday.
Last night, Beth Ditto brought her ferocious soul-punk voice to XL Bar in Hell’s Kitchen and while the set was a short one, she worked her thang and made the crowd move. As is usually the case, I stayed out too late (and honestly for no good reason – which I need to stop doing) and am paying for it today. That being said, it was great to see Beth again, particularly as up close and personal as I was able to get thanks to a friend’s press pass plus one I was able to get in on.

Since I’ve been whoring out my excitement over the little video remix I made everywhere else, I feel as though it deserves a home here as well.
Somebody please remind me to put this video in my time capsule of favorite things. I want to be just like Oprah but my favorite things will be much more fun (or at least the things I share with the general public will be).
If I ever have children, which…eeeeeh, I’m going to have to move to England so I can have them say things with these adorable accents.
