Your Weekend Twerk: Flosstradamus “Assquake”
I’ll admit this is a little weird but Flosstradamus‘s twerkin’ banger, “Assquake”, is getting me homesick for Chicago. I can picture myself staying out way past my bedtime, drinking Jameson & PBR at Berlin with my peeps, hearing “Assquake” drop and running to the floor to make my pancake ass quake.
Emeli Sande’s Cover of “Crazy in Love” for The Great Gatsby
Not gonna lie – I think I might like Emeli Sandé‘s throwback cover version of Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love” more than I like the original. Props to Jay Z for including it given its super-status (although I’m assuming he and Bey will get hella royalties coming from five different directions anyway).

Katy B & Jessie Ware are pretty much needed in my ears at all times lately. They’ve got seductive swag that flows so nicely on top of beats on beats on beats. A friend just asked everyone their favorite song of the moment so I took a quick glance at “My Weekly Obsessions” playlist, spotted Disclosure’s “Latch” and was surprised to find I hadn’t already posted the song right up in hurrrr. This jam is hot, fresh and a great way to welcome whatever this summer will bring.
